The X65 is a modern 8-bit microcomputer based on the W65C816 processor, equipped with 16 MB of RAM with flat addressing, a proprietary CGIA graphics system supporting a 256-color palette, sprite graphics, image layers and scrolling, a Yamaha SD-1 FM synthesizer with the ability to play samples via a digital-to-analog converter, USB and Wi-Fi/Bluetooth interfaces, and a proprietary OS/816 operating system enabling multitasking, shell mode operation and low-level programming.
