Adammodore

Hailing from Grodzisk Wielkopolski, he is the owner of a collection built over 20 years. It mainly consists of Commodore hardware: around a dozen C64s, Amigas (one of each: 500, 600, 1200, CD32), the C128 in three different versions, C16, and the Plus/4. On top of that, there are over a dozen different consoles and more than 100 calculators from the 1970s, including 40 made by Commodore. To have something to display it all on, he has gathered over 30 different TVs and monitors.

BITT GAME

A huge fan of Atari hardware. His collection features, among others, the Atari VCS with its classic wood-grain casing and black ribbed top panels, the Atari “Vader” – the dark, matte-black version of the 2600 model that gives it a more 'space-age' feel – classic Atari CX40 joysticks with their signature red button and black stick, paddle controllers, as well as cartridges in their distinctive plastic shells with colorful labels.

At this station, you’ll see the Minimal 64x4 – a unique computer built entirely from TTL logic chips, running completely without a traditional CPU and housed in a LEGO casing (architecture designed by Carsten Herting). The creator launched his custom game 'Minimal Dino Run' on it (a clone of the Chrome dinosaur game). Grab the controller, play, and compete for a prize – the player with the highest High Score at the end of the day wins a gift!

Right next to it, the creator is showcasing the MAD-65 – his custom retro console project. This monochrome beast packs dual 65C02 CPUs (14 MHz), 400×300@60Hz graphics, and powerful YM2413 and dual SN76489 sound chips. Test out CETAS – the latest game created specifically for this platform – live on-site, and witness the next chapter in 8-bit hardware history!

Our zones pop up at conventions, festivals, and gaming events across Poland, bridging the gap between the history and the modern era of digital entertainment.

Opole Retro Gaming Zone

Step back in time to the golden age of video games and experience the true spirit of retro with the Opole Retro Gaming Zone! Since 2018, we have been passionately saving iconic consoles and computers from oblivion, giving them a second life and sharing this magic at fairs, conventions, and our stationary venue at the Voivodeship Public Library in Opole. Get ready for an ultimate return to the roots, the smell of warm electronics, and unforgettable emotions that brought generations of gamers together around a single CRT screen years ago.

At our booth, you’ll find unique, nostalgia-fueled stations built for pure couch competition and technical curiosities. Test your skills in a unique setup of Pac-Man Vs. on the Nintendo GameCube, take part in wild, 4-screen Mario Kart 64 races, and face off in a four-player co-op brawl in Micro Mages on an original NES. You’ll also witness the power of the Super Nintendo paired with the Super Game Boy 2, and for Sega classics fans, we’ll surprise you with a Mega Drive setup featuring the Sega CD add-on, along with extraordinary gems like the rare Paprium.

Retro Arcade

This is a project born out of a passion for retro gaming and classic arcade cabinets. Every machine is built by hand, with a focus on capturing the authentic vibe of vintage arcades and ensuring top-notch craftsmanship. Each project is crafted from scratch – from the initial concept and technical design all the way to the finished machine.

Retro Computers™ Colection

This year, the electronics industry of Wrocław will have a strong representation at G&VD. You'll get to see the iconic Pong clone, the Ameprod TVG-10, as well as an absolute legend of school IT education: the Elwro 800 Junior, complete with the FDD800 disk drive unit. Naturally, the powerful domestic PC AT-class clone – the Elwro 801AT – will also be there. And as the cherry on top, bringing a nostalgic musical twist, the showcase will be completed by the one-of-a-kind Elwirka electronic organ.

Zabrze isn't too far from Wrocław either – especially considering how closely the histories of Zatra and Elwro became intertwined at one point. To mark the occasion, I invite you to check out the first Polish personal computer (functionally similar to the iconic TRS-80). I'll be showing off the mass-produced Meritum 1 (with 16 KB RAM), unveiled in 1983, along with its upgraded version – the Meritum 2, equipped with a disk drive interface and a full 64 KB of RAM.

Rounding off the exhibition will be foreign computers with a Polish pedigree. You'll see the famous Unipolbrit 2068 (created by Gdańsk-based Unimor in collaboration with PZ Polbrit International) alongside the FDD 3000 disk drive, as well as a unique unit of the Spectravideo SVI-738 featuring a Polish-language keyboard layout, crafted specifically for our market!

Will there be other surprises? I guarantee it... but since they're meant to stay a secret, just drop by the event and see for yourselves!

RetroGralnia

This is a zone prepared by the event organizers – personally! Here you'll find classic 8-bit and 16-bit machines ready to play! Pure classics that you either remember from your childhood or dreamed of back then! As RetroGralnia, we have organized dozens of exhibitions over more than a decade of activity, and today we operate as the GIKME Foundation and Museum in Wrocław

RetroSfera

Mobile RetroSfera is an initiative by the RetroSfera organization that brings mobile retro gaming zones to various events, including conventions, festivals, gaming expos, and themed gatherings.

In addition, RetroSfera hosts one of Poland's largest retrogaming festivals, which also bears the name RetroSfera.

Thanks to Mobile RetroSfera, attendees can play classic games on original hardware, take part in tournaments, and learn about the history of gaming and technology. The initiative promotes retro gaming across different locations and makes it accessible to a broad audience.

Mobile RetroSfera has been featured at events such as Poznań Game Arena, One More Game Festival, as well as many other events throughout Poland.

SUPER KLIMEK BROS

At this year’s Games & Vintage Days, Super Klimek Bros brings authentic, unfiltered retro gaming with no emulators or save points. Their booth features Poland’s largest Vectrex collection, complete with working Lightpens, PiTrexy adapters, multicarts, and custom UV overlays showcasing pure vector graphics. Alongside it, visitors can experience the legendary Ameprod TVG-10—a iconic milestone in Polish video game history—fully set up with operational light guns and CRT tuning nostalgia.

Pop-culture fans can dive into Pac-Man Overload, arguably the biggest Pac-Man collection in Poland, packed with classic arcade cabinets, pinball machines, home consoles, figures, and unique memorabilia. The booth also showcases rare portable handheld consoles equipped with glowing Vacuum Fluorescent Displays (VFD), capturing the unique charm of handheld electronics from the pre-LCD era.

Rounding out the exhibit are hands-on Retro Experiments, including 3D holograms displaying demoscene animations and custom-made games running on pixel LED matrices. Visitors can also preview an exclusive line of apparel inspired by vintage Polish electronics, grab the controllers, and get hands-on experience with niche hardware usually only seen on Wikipedia or YouTube.

Discover Łódź's first permanent museum of digital entertainment. In a space of nearly 150 square meters, we have created a unique venue where the history of technology comes alive before your eyes—and in your hands!

Forget dusty display cases and "do not touch" signs. Around 60 fully operational, powered-up, and ready-to-play stations await you. Take an unforgettable history lesson by playing on iconic home computers and legendary consoles across multiple generations, as well as testing retro audio equipment, VHS, and DVD players.

However, our exhibition goes much deeper. We have gathered a rich collection of supporting exhibits, including vintage software, unique peripherals, and an extensive print archive—featuring books and iconic computer magazines from the era.

We operate as a foundation, which is why our mission extends beyond the exhibition itself. We passionately protect and restore historic electronics to preserve our digital heritage for future generations, while actively promoting knowledge about the history of computing and legacy technologies.
